AATH Annual Therapeutic Humor Conference and Humor Academy Has Been Canceled
In light of the recent developments with the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the AATH 30th Annual Therapeutic Humor Conference and 10th Annual Humor Academy has been canceled on May 14-17, 2020 at the Doubletree Hilton in New Orleans.
The health and wellness of our attendees, staff and vendors are of the utmost importance to us. While we were looking forward to see you all in May, canceling the event was, ultimately, the right choice.
The conference committee, staff and board are looking at options to connect with you all this year – either virtually, or in a smaller onsite event in the fall, or both.
These are difficult times for us all. Still, no one knows better how to handle stress and difficulty than AATH members, am I right?! For now, you can make the decision if you would like to get a refund on your registration fee from the May conference or if you would like us to apply that to the 2021 conference.
Also, make sure you address any hotel or airfare reservations you may have already made. If you made your hotel reservation through our AATH room block, the hotel will automatically cancel your reservation for you by the end of the day Friday, March 20th.
If you have any questions, contact us at any time!
